Keri completed her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Pacific University (2002) and has been working with individuals with special needs for over 20 years within a variety of environments (schools, home, clinic, recreational programs, and community-based programs). As an occupational therapist, she continues to further explore her passion for supporting individuals and their families in finding greater independence, active participation in everyday life, and exploring what is truly meaningful and motivating. Keri’s background and training offers a variety of experience including sensory integration, integrated play groups/inclusion, and DIR-Floortime. Some of her passions are traveling, hiking, camping, running, yoga, stand-up paddle boarding and spending time with her husband Jim and their dog Thomas.
Caitlin McConnell, MSOT, OTR/L
Licensed Occupational Therapist
Caitlin is a Santa Cruz native who returned home after completing her Master’s at Tufts University in Boston, MA. She completed her OT fieldwork at PTC then joined the team in August 2017. Caitlin discovered OT in high school and fell in love with the profession as she gained more exposure to it while obtaining an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Child Development at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She has a range of experience working with children and has a strong interest in sensory processing, regulation, and integration. Her other interests within the field include mental health, community reintegration, and older adult populations. In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys going to concerts, learning guitar, singing, eating spicy food, hiking, camping, and relaxing at the beach. She loves thrilling adventures such as roller coasters, skydiving, and paragliding. Caitlin is an avid traveler who is passionate about exploring the world and immersing into its variety of cultures. She was privileged with the opportunities to travel to Tanzania, China, and England to learn about OT in these countries, where she gained increased global perspective and knowledge about the field. Caitlin is excited to have begun her OT career in a pediatric setting at PTC!
Billing Manager/ Office Administrative Assistant
Kelly studied Medical Office Administration at Monterey Peninsula College, gaining working knowledge of office procedures and practices, work organization and simplification, and the principles of administration and management. With her experience in client services, data entry, bookkeeping and office administration, Kelly enjoys assisting clients and supporting staff, managing accounts and billing, operations and communications, referrals/intakes, and public relations. She gains satisfaction from knowing she supports families and staff by managing charts and the filing system, maintaining office equipment, ordering supplies and assisting in any way to keep the front office of PTC running smoothly. She enjoys the fact that it truly is a friendly and fun place to work. A Santa Cruz County native, Kelly enjoys going to beaches, parks, and camping with her daughter, Eva, their dog, Coleman, family and friends.
